Alive and Well

I am sure you are wondering what is going on in Bahrain and are the Allreds okay. Well we are doing fine. The media over dramatizes situations most of the time and that is the case with Bahrain. All the protests have been peaceful for the most part. The American's are not under any attack. The protests for the most part are big celebrations with people just voicing their opinions.

The only thing that bugs me is the traffic some days. One night it took me an hour to get home and it usually only takes 20 minutes at most. The people were hanging out of their cars with great big flags and honking their horns.

We have been smart and stayed home most of the time. One weekend they advised us not to go anywhere and that was just fine with us. I took advantage of this two day weekend at home and potty trained Ari. I can say Ari has been potty trained for a month now. She only wears a pull up at bedtime and most mornings she wakes up dry.

Know that we are safe and we love and miss you all!

Thanks for coming by my blog, I always check on you on FB to make sure you are alright! I cannot believe that Ari is potty trained, time does fly! Know that you are in our prayers and when news mentions Bahrain, we hold our breath! Tell Bryan when we meet again, it'll be strawberry rhubarb pie!

That's so scary that you are so close to all the protests and scariness. Stay safe!

Hey thanks for posting - everytime I listen to NPR I hear about Bahrain and it makes me worry.

And what an amazing mom are you!? I can't believe Ari is already potty trained. Way to go!
