Ari is a little parrot these days. She wants to know what everything is. We tell her and she repeats it a couple times and then she tells daddy about it when he gets home.
She knows most of her body parts (head, hair, ears, eyes, nose, neck, lips, teeth, tongue, knee, toes, fingers, belly, leg, arm, feet, eyebrows, back, bum, belly button, toe nails) and most characters from Sesame Street (Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Zoe, Abby, Cook(ie), Big Bir, Telly, Gro(ver), Osc(er) and Winnie the Pooh (Tig(ger), Ee(yore), Pooh, Darby, Owl, Rab(bit), and P(iglet).
Ari also enjoys Skyping with her family members. The people she wants to talk to mostly are her Mimi (Miya her dog), Nana, and her Unc. Probably because this is who she talks to most often. Funny story, the other day I was packing her bag in her room and I hear the Skype dial tone. Ari had called her Nana all by herself.
Ari is also very social. She loves people and kids. While on base she waves to everyone we walk by. We have met people we other wise would not have. If she sees another child she is walks right over and tries to give them a toy she has. Sometimes she scares the other child away. I hope she always remains this outgoing.
Now to tell about one of her not so favorable characteristics. She is so stubborn and has started to throw some fits. I have to remind myself that I am the mom and it is okay to say no. Ari thinks that if she says please she should get it, not the case. She understands time out and will go and sit in her room. She doesn't like us to get mad at her. She gets sad and goes to her room or hides under her B(blanket).
Ari is showing signs of wanting to potty train. She has used the potty a couple times, but we are not pushing it. Once we move into our home we will take her to pick out a potty. I am hoping it will be as easy as getting rid of the bottle. Ari gave up the bottle because she wanted a sippy cup like the other kids.
We are so thankful for her. I don't know how we could have made it through the past year without having such an easy child. She just adjusts to whatever environment she is in.

She's such a fun and smart girl. I'm sad were going to miss seeing her grow but just keep posting and we'll follow her developments.
She is so smart - congrats on good parenting and having an awesome child! Hudson and her will be such good buddies one day when we live next door to each other :)
don't you sometimes wish that when you meet good friends that you all could just stay neighbors? We miss our friends from MS.
She is so cute! I love that picture at the Zoo! Did I ever tell you I work at Hogle Zoo? Next time you are here (I know you kind of live far away now:) But next time you back in town and visit the Zoo we'll have to meet up!
