Well, it has been a while and I thought I should let everyone know what we have been up to lately. As usual I couldn't stay away from coaching very long and this time I roped Bryan into helping. We are coaching a 16 Elite volleyball team for a local club.
We have 9 really sweet girls. We started practicing in December and they have made so much progress in such a short time. We played our first tournament on January 11 and placed second in the Gold Bracket. Last weekend we played the same team in the final and came out on top taking first in the Gold Bracket. We are enjoying seeing the girls improve as individual players as well as a whole team.
It is really nice coaching with Bryan. He is so calm and we are able to see things the other does not. Bryan is the offensive coach and I am the defensive coach. We will keep you posted as the season goes on.
BTW don't laugh too much at my pregnant belly. There is one good thing about being pregnant and coaching I can't get too excited because the baby starts kicking and I have to sit down on the bench. :0)
