Landscaping

So, I have been meaning to post some pictures of the landscaping Bryan and I have done in the front yard. My family knows that I love plants and enjoy making things grow. Well, since we don't have a big bay window like my parents I can't have a bunch of house plants. The only thing I could do was plant them outside. I decided to take on this project in the middle of the summer. And of course I involved Bryan. We started working on the front yard in June and finished the beginning of July. You wouldn't think it would take so long to put a few flowerbeds in. Well, if you think this way you have never lived in the South where the ground is nothing but hard clay. We were to cheap to go and rent a tiller so we broke up the ground by hand and the end results turned out great. One little piece of advice do not start landscaping projects in the middle of summer.

As the Allred's neighbor, I can attest to the beauty of the landscaping and wish my yard looks the same way! Good job Bryan and Reiko!

my yard is all clay too. We could make plates out of our soil! But, landscaping/gardening is my "release," so working at it with a pick ax just makes the end product more meaningful...the sore forearms I could do with out though :) What you've done is gorgeous! way to go!

Wow! Your yard looks really nice. I wish mine looked that good. It has been so hot here I would have to leave the water running 24/7!

That is a big difference from where we are! I think you guys made it look really lovely.

I can't believe you have a house! I am green with envy. It looks so pretty! I wish I could see it. Your husband is so TALL! I guess you always dated taller guys and you are really short (I love being just a tad taller than you, you are the only one I get to pick on).
