Ari's First Time at the Pool

While in Utah Ari went swimming almost every morning at Grandma Smith's work. Ari loves the water and only cries when we take her out of the water.

Memorial Day

We didn't do much for Memorial Day. We kind of just hung out at home. We did decide at the last minute to go to Wall Doxey State Park with some friends and grill some steaks and take a walk around the lake. It was a nice relaxing Memorial Day.

Memphis Botanic Garden

While my sister and her family were in town we visited the Memphis Botanic Garden. This place is great. We didn't let the rain stop us from exploring the beautiful grounds. They even had an iris flower arrangement competition going on. The iris just happens to be one of my favorite flowers. If you are looking for something to do, I highly recommend spending the day at the Memphis Botanic Garden.

Believe it or not, but Taija loves Memphis. Memphis just loves the attention. He even tried to eat some of her baby food.

A Day at the Zoo

With Kirari's cousin in town we thought we would spend the day at the Zoo. As we packed up the car (with two babies it takes some time) and set out for the Zoo it started to sprinkle, but after taking the time to pack up we decided to go anyway. It turned out to be a great day. Everyone had a good time at the Zoo. There were so many baby animals. Uncle Justin asked to pet a penguin and surprisingly the zoo keeper let him.

Taija Helping Kirari

Kirari's cousin Taija, Aunt Toshi, and Uncle Justin are in town visiting for the week and cousin Taija likes to help with Kirari.

One Month Old

Can you believe it Kirari is one month old? Well, Bryan and I cannot believe how time has already flown by. Our little girl has already changed so much. Kirari is so much more alert. We love that she snuggles up against our chest and makes her little mouse sounds. We have already given her so many different names that we will be surprised if she is not confused about her name. She is our mouse, our bug-a-boo, princess, snuggle-bug, and little piggy. She sleeps through the night and loves her swing. Kirari we love you so much.

The Season is at an End

Well, the club volleyball season has come to an end. Bryan and I had a great expereince coaching these girls. We absolutely love them and are so happy with the strides they have made in improving their game.

The girls and parents have been so good to us. We are thankful to the moms who were so kind to watch Kirari for us. We couldn't have coached this season without the help we received. We wish the girls the best of luck with the upcoming High School tryouts they have.

The other night we went to Central Park for dinner since the weather was so nice. After dinner we went on a walk. We found that Kirari loves the stroller. The bumpy road put Kirari right to sleep. We are most definitely going to put the stroller to good use.

We have such good babysitters. Whenver Kirari whimpers Miya and Memphis are the first to go and see what is wrong. They don't like us to let her cry at all; they get upset with us. Miya loves to lay right next to Kirari and when we pick Kirari up she feels like we took her baby away from her.
