Our Holiday Party / Farewell to Santha

We hosted our Holiday Party / Farewell to Santha this weekend. We always enjoy having people over to our home. It was wonderful to have the house filled with children this year. We had over 30 people in the home at one time. It was nice because everyone had their own space. We had a wonderful time celebrating the season with our friends and although we must say farewell to many of the friends we make while living here. We are truly thankful for the friendships. We wish Santha the best on her new adventure in Japan and hope to visit her one day.

Base Christmas Tree Lighting

The base had is annual Christmas Tree lighting. It was extra special this year because we were able to be with our friends. In the last few months Ari has made some wonderful friends and in return Bryan and I have made friends. It amazes me how small children can be such an amazing example. We are indeed thankful for the friendships we have made while living in Bahrain.

Ugly Sweater Party

Our friends the Paddocks hosted an Ugly Sweater Holiday Party the first week of December. It was a great way to start the Christmas season. All of us enjoyed ourselves. We ate tasty dishes and visited with our friends. We even won "What's in the Stocking" - we had to guess all the items in the stocking.

There were some interesting ugly sweaters or whole outfits. Santa even made an appearance with his Elf to help. Ari went right up to Santa and climbed up on his lap. She was the only child that did so and she was not the oldest. My brave little girl.

Enjoy the pictures. BTW we looked a picture of Ari last year on Santa's lap and she has grown.
